As I arrive at Valley Wellness, our medical cannabis dispensary in Bridgewater, NJ, I’m greeted by the familiar scent of terpenes and the buzz of anticipation for another day of helping patients. After clocking in, I join my colleagues for our morning briefing, where we discuss any updates on products, regulations, and patient needs.
Mid-Morning: Inventory and Education
The first task of the day is to check and update our inventory. As a cannabis delivery service, it’s crucial to ensure we have all products stocked and ready for both in-store purchases and deliveries. I spend some time researching the latest studies on medical marijuana to better assist our patients from Hillsborough, Basking Ridge, and surrounding areas.
Afternoon: Patient Consultations
The bulk of my day is spent consulting with patients. Today, I have appointments with:
- A first-time patient from Somerset, NJ, seeking relief from chronic pain
- A regular customer from Morristown looking to try a new strain for anxiety
- An elderly patient from Readington who needs assistance with dosing information
Each consultation is unique, and I take pride in providing personalized care and education to help patients make informed decisions about their medical cannabis use.
Evening: Delivery Coordination and Closing
As the day winds down, I coordinate with our delivery team to ensure all orders for the Bridgewater and Hillsborough areas are processed and ready for dispatch. Before closing, we perform a final inventory check and prepare the dispensary for the next day.
